TextGRAB SDK is a COM library that allows screen text capture in Windows applications.
You can use it to capture text from any application that doesn't provide communication API's in order to feed another program. You can capture text from any part of any window including: status bar messages, Windows error messages and more, list controls, list views, menus, any custom controls, etc.
TextGRAB SDK is not an OCR based solution. Which makes it work faster than OCR based solution and allows capture text even if some custom fonts are used.
TextGRAB SDK can be used in different types of software like dictionaries, translation tools, organizer applications, etc.

Capture Assistant is the most convenient and easy to use text and graphics capture tool.
It allows you to capture:

Capture Assistant is built using TextGRAB SDK technology which allows to add capture functionality to any application.
Activating capture assistant
Default hot keys to activate Capture Assistant are: Ctrl+Shift. Just press it and select any text, click on any word or password, select any area on screen. After you will release left mouse button – Capture Assistant main menu will appear.
Capturing text
Capture Assistant extracts text from any window, even if copy/paste is not available (list controls, tree controls, status bars, protected documents, buttons, etc…). Capture Assistant preserves formatting of captured text.
Capture Assistant allows to extract font information (font face, size, color).
After text is captured, you can:
- copy it to clipboard
- edit it as plain text
- edit it in a rich text editor
- add text to notes file
- send text by email
- print captured text
Capturing graphics
Capture Assistant allows to capture any part of your screen in an easy way. After picture is captured you can:
- preview it
- copy to clipboard
- view in an external viewer
- edit picture
- print picture
- save picture
Color picker
Capture Assistant allows you to click on any pixel on screen and it will show you it’s color.

FontDings V2.0 is the big brother of the Windows Character Map.
When the program first runs, you select any font, installed or not and it will display on-screen, the full character set of the selected font. You can Bold or Italicize the selected font.
But the main utility is the printing feature of FontDings V2.0.
When you click on the Print icon, FontDings V2.0 will print a keyboard layout sheet of the selected font on one page. It will also indicate the keys to press to access the character you need.
Although you can print every font on your system if you want to, it’s those Wingding type fonts that a user really wants to know about.
Let’s say you need a clock face in your document. What are you going to do? Draw one? Well Wingdings comes with that design and to access it you must press ALT + 0192. That is hold down the ALT key while typing in 0 1 9 2. Don’t forget the leading zero.
There are hundreds of fonts that aren’t just letters, but graphics….pictures of everything you could ever want or need. But accessing them using the character map is very tedious.
With FontDings V2.0 you can create a Font reference book for all of your picture fonts. This way any character you could possibly want is easily accessible in your newly created FontDings V2.0 portfolio.
