Bmp2Cnc reads the file in bitmap format (Jpg or BMP with 32,24,16,8 or 1 bit/plane color). Color or grayscale is quantified to adjust Z-axis depth, different tool overlaps, depths and tool radius are permitted. Final sizes of X-Y output can be scaled and stored into CNC files that could run with most computer numerical control routers and mills. Bmp2Cnc uses the different layers or shades to produce the depth of cut or Z-axis, as well as scaling the X-Y coordinates to the desired carving size. Bmp2Cnc manages flat, toroid, spheric and conic tools. Bmp2Cnc also create an .STL file for 3d preview and for use in other CAD/CAM applications. Included great number of open post-processor such as: Fanuc, Fadal, Haas, Heidehain, Siemens, Mach2/3, TurboCnc, ....

Convert VDAFS file to DXF file (in 3DFACE entities) and generates the NC program for milling a piece composed from 3DFACE entities, by some paths parallel to the machine axis. In VDAFS file will be interpreted the entities of type PSET, FACE (created from the entities of type SURF and CONS) and possibly those of type SURF. 3DFACE entities may result also from 3DFACE or 3DMESH entities from DXF files, from STL ASCII files generates by AutoCAD for solids and from RCAD “3DFace” command. 3DFace entities which describe the surface can be intersected or not perfectly joined! The milling cutter with semispherical head will be always above and tangent to the assembly of 3DFace entities! You can calculate 3D area, volume and center of gravity of some bodies limited by 3DFACE entities. RCAD graphic core, distributed together with VDAFS to DXF&NC, provides OpenGL real-time orbit, pan, zoom, shading, lighting and motion path animation. |
