If your Mac OS X is v10.7 (Lion) or later, please download Microsoft Remote Desktop at APPLE Store, and read new guide.

If your Mac OS X  version is v10.5.8 or a later version, and is lower than v10.6. Please download Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2.1.1 on Microsoft website.

After install Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac, Download *.RDP files.

Click the RDP file you have downloaded directly, Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac will open the RDP file directly.

The following step includes an important operation which is how to share a folder on your local hard disk to network, so that your Mac computer can upload (the Open item in remote app menu) file or download (the Save or Save As item in remote app menu) file to remote APP server.

The following is an example to run Batch Photo Resizer remotely in Mac OS after install Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2.1.1.

The only read/write access right you have on Remote App sever is Desktop in your profile. You may save the output on your remote desktop temporarily. But you still need to get it to your local disk. So it is better to use shared folder or network drive. Click the Computer icon, you will find network drive name test on bill's Mac. Please save the file to network drive you mapped from your local Mac computer.
